Description
Research suggests that a significant number of people do not recieve enough calcium from their diets and that also with age, lack of calcium can contribute to bone mass decline. With the Department of Health advising a diet containing up to 1200mg of Calcium a day for women, a supplement such as Lamberts Calasorb is advised as it is very difficult to obtain these levels from your diet alone, particularly if it contains little to no dairy. Supplying Calcium in citrate form, Calasorb is easily absorbed by the body due partly to it’s high solubility – especially in comparison to other calcium supplements. Three tablets a day are advised by the manufacturer, providing 800mg of this product.
